This entry is significant to this blog in the fact that it discusses endothermic and exothermic reactions. On our recent "Demo Day" we expanded a balloon similar to this experiment. In out experiment we found that the balloons were exothermic during the reaction. This experiment is opposite of ours and is instead endothermic.
