Highly Attractive

I thought I would view the humorous side of chemistry (yes there’s surprisingly such a thing) and I found what I thought was a lighthearted cartoon of alkali atoms being attracted to halogen elements.  In one sentence and of course a picture it touches on a basic principle of chemistry on which everything else is build upon. Group one elements which have high low ionization energy, readily give up their valence electrons to form a stable octet while group 17 elements easily accept electrons also to form a stable octet.  Just a little something to make you smile.
