This article is a glance at a nonacene, from the family of organic semiconductors called "acenes."  At first, oxidation of nonacene would occur within seconds of creation.  The molecule is now both stable when exposed to oxygen and soluble.  Nonacene could be used for advanced technologies, such as flexible screens for computers, televisions, and other various screens that could be rolled up for storage.  It could also be used for military tents and vehicles for camouflage.  Although money and research needs to be further advanced, nonacene may prove to be valuable in upcoming years.
