Have Orbitals Really Been Observed?

In this article, the author argues the findings of a scientist who posted in Nature magazine. The science claims to have observed the physical appearance of d-orbitals. He claimed that he saw the "dumbbell with the donut ring" shape in reality. The author of this article argues that it is impossible to perceive any orbital, especially d-orbitals since the action is based solely on mathematic algorithms. He completely disproved the article from Nature using deductive logic and simple reasoning.

This article shows that even when science is said to proven, another scientist will want to prove or disprove it, showing the importance of the scientific process.
