From methane to methanol

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/11/091111123610.htm

This article is about the use of natural gas and that it is going to be gone in a certain amount of years and the way that chemists are trying to use specific catalysts to convert methane to methanol. I thought this article was really interesting because it has to do with our natural resources and especially one of the most commonly used - gas. I think there will be several more projects/experiments and new discoveries to come later on that try to figure out what we are going to have to do after we have used up all of the natural gas that we have, which in the article says is in approximately 60 years.
