The article focuses on a material that was accidentally discovered during another experiment. Little did the researchers realize, they had solidified the theory of a previous scientist. The super, incredibly thin glass shows amazing potential to improve the $500 gizmos we all love, as it pokes fun at Apple and their "cheaper" iPhone. This slim glass could be an wonderful push for technology. But aside from the first world interests, it was a fun way to find the bare structure of glass. I mean, who doesn't love discovering something by accident? The only aspect the article does not mention, which may be the most important thing to know about glass, is how durable and sturdy this new tissue paper glass is. All in all, this article shows how there are still numerous discoveries to be made, improvements are always possible, and "muck" can be deceiving.
