Chemists Slide a Splitting Catalyst over DNA for the First Time

Chemists have developed a catalyst that will bind to the DNA in order to allow it to split in a certain location. These chemists manipulate enzymes in order to form a ring that is connected to another enzyme which will connect to the DNA. The machine, however, used for this process is in a C-shape in order to allow easier access to wrap around the DNA strand.

With this discovery to copy a catalyst it will become easier to genetically determine physical traits within children and eventually manipulate their brain capacity. Also with this technology disease prevention will be possible and could even assist in curing long life diseases such as diabetes or cancer.
