Professor Dr. Hans-Jorg Himmel and his team of scientists have combined a chain of Boron to Boron coupling known as element-element coupling. In synthetic chemistry, it can be possible to combine elements together to make a more complex material that could be used to save precious resources. This Boron to Boron chain actually is a new molecule developed.
This new synthetic chemical combination of elements could potentially be used to not only save resources, but could be used to cut down on pollution. When building cars or plastics, carcinogens could be cut down if same elements could be combined. An interesting concept that will be in the future.
