A Fueled Discovery

Alan Weimer, the leader of the research group at Colorado University- Boulder, made an impressive discovery of being able to transfer sunlight and water into hydrogen fuel.  Weimer’s group utilized 1,200 acres of land containing about 5 solar towers that convert the consumed sunlight and water into hydrogen energy. This discovery demonstrates the concept that more heat being produced results in a larger, overall energy production.  This amazing discovery also exhibits the electronegativity of the steam that is contained within the energy towers.  The steam within the central energy towers pulls the oxygen atoms out of its original state as a water molecule. Thus leaving behind the pure hydrogen molecules that are gathered to produce hydrogen fuel.
