Chemistry of Cooking

In order to make chemistry more approachable when we first learn chemistry, textbooks indicate that chemistry is everywhere. The textbook then gives supporting examples which includes; the creation of a plastic hair band, the course of starting a car, or the process of how sweats evaporate. All of these are very important throughout my life; however, my favorite example of chemistry in everyday life involves chemistry in culinary art. I love to eat. The article I found is about chemistry of cooking. It explains why food tastes better or worse depending on how people cook. Although reading this article wouldn?t make us a better cook, we understand why we often fail to cook the best food.
